Reproduction Builders Plates and Railroad
Castings
Cam-Tech Publishing offers an extensive
line of reproduction locomotive builders plates and other castings. All
are cast in aluminum from original wooden patterns. We DO NOT make
reproduction castings from original castings. These castings are
molded one at a time in sand molds, in the time-honored methods of the foundry.
Prices are listed below each casting and includes domestic shipping.

The Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Railroad logo.
This is a reproduction of the famed D T & I logo that was created in 1914 and
lasted into the 1950's. Pictured is the prototype casting. It
measures 8 1/4 inches diameter and has raised and rounded lettering and border
ring. The casting is painted gloss black with silver painted letter and
ring faces. It is a distinctive casting worthy of any railroad room or office
wall. The original pattern was made by Scott Trostel, author of several books on

Lima Locomotive Works Builders Plate Reproduction -
Southern Pacific Daylight #4449
This is a faithful reproduction of the famed Lima Diamond builders plate for the
streamlined passenger locomotive SP #4449. Pictured is the prototype casting
painted black in keeping with the locomotive styling. It
measures 16 inches across by 9 inches high, point to point. The
casting is painted gloss black with gold painted lettering. It is cast in

Plate.
Built for the Russian Government Ea #1023 - but not
shipped. It was diverted to United States Railroad Administration as
U.S.Government, #1198 where it went to the Southern Railway as # 8032.
From there it went to Tennessee coal hauler Nashville, Chattanooga & Northern as
their #954. Pictured is the prototype casting painted black with aluminum
painted lettering. It measures 9 1/8 inch diameter. It is cast in aluminum.
